Multi-touch Game

Start up the app and use your fingers to draw. Using a single finger will draw with white paint, using more will draw with random neon colors. Shake your Zune side to side to erase the canvas. Hit the middle menu button to quit.

Paint

A simple Paint program for Zune HD. You can choose the color of the first touch's line in the menu, and the other 3 lines are just black. Use the C in the lower left to clear the screen. Currently, when you open the Menu, the current drawing is lost.

Particles of DOOM!!

Teeter

This is updated to Alpha Release 3, has many new features such as an ending zone, walls now work very well and it has a new start menu. Just tilt your Zune HD to guide the ball through the level.

There is a new level editor that you can download HERE ... You must run the level editor in Debug mode, then add the new file to the program.

Just use your finger to move the good away from the evil, everytime apple touches you evil gets a point and every 2 seconds you arent touched good gets a point =P

Chopper

Chopper is finally here!!!
Considered one of the most addicting games of all time!!! To play, simply hold you finger on the screen to make the chopper go up and release your finger to let the chopper fall.

The objective is to get your chopper as far as you can through the level without hitting the walls or blocks, if you do hit one, you start over.

Edit: In this new version, there is now an options menu where you can change the speed of the chopter, there was also some really nice smoke effects added thanks to roguemat's particle engine...

Parachutes

This is an updated parachutes game for the Zune HD.

The goal of the game is simple stop the people from landing into your base and in some cases stop missiles from reaching your base
The more people you kill at without going missing incresses your kill streak which for every person you kill you gain 2 dollors + whatever your kill streak is.

Controls are Touch and nonTouch
Touch:
tap the left or right arrow to move cannon
Non Touch:
Tilt zune left or right to move cannon
To pause the game just press the icon to the left of the Fire button

There are also extras that you can buy...
Large shoot - a big bullet that once hits a person splits into 5 normal bullets
Machine gun- a simple machine gun
Four Shoot - 4 normal bullets fired at once

Tap Tap Defense

This is a rather basic and quick yet strangely fulfilling game were you must defend your cupcake/muffin from a stream of attacking teddy bears.
You have to move the "mouse" cursor around to "click" on the bears then watch them explode. The game also has a primitive score system that saves your high score, level, and time.
Controls:
Touch to move the cursor and click
Back opens main menu

Acceleroid

The game is a mix of classic Breakout and Space Invaders.
Use the accelerometer to steer the ship and I was wondering about a good input for firing.
To fire (you can only fire if you have ammo), you need to tap on the border of the ZuneHD. But not on screen... hit the Zune with your finger and the ship will shoot. Try it! It works like an invisible Shoulder button.

Ok, whats the task? Stay alive as long as possible and get a new highscore.

The bricks move down, and from level to level they will move faster. Hit the bricks with balls or shoot them to get rid of them and earn points.

Everytime you hit a brick with the ball, you get one additional bullet you can shoot with.

Sometimes when the bricks break, they spawn extras. Here is a list of the extras, that are available:

- Extralife
- Move bricks up a bit
- Grenade addon (turns the ball in a grenade. When it hits a brick, it causes an explosion that hits bricks in a radius, too)
- Rocket addon (turns the ball into a rocket. It will destroy every brick at once on its way without bouncing back)
- Multiball (this will spawn an additional ball. The amount of simultanous balls is not limited)
- Glue & Ammo (ball will stick to the paddle and adds 20 ammo)
- Smartbomb (destroys all bricks on scree

Ok i still need to add some sound, but other than that it is finished.

Anyway this is the classic game of 15.
Nothing really special right now, but it is fully functional.
I may add some animations and such to spice it up.
Take a look at the youtube video i posted and tell me what you think.
If there is enough interest I will post a tutorial and the source code for all to see and use.
I am a programmer, not an artist so please be gentle on the graphics.
(I think they are pretty good though, all hand made!!!)

marblets

For anyone who?s interested, here is the Marblets Starter Kit, updated to run on the Zune HD. The major changes were:
-Removing the functionality for Sound, Gamepad, Keyboard and Relative Sprites.
-Adding support for the Touch Screen and Accelerometer.
-Adding support for playing with the Zune HD turned to either side.
-Resizing the textures for the Zune HD.
To begin, touch the Start button. Touch a marble to select it and see the potential score. Slide your finger down the right side of the screen to break the marbles. Once the game is over, touch anywhere on the screen to play again.

I believe this is the first real game on the zune HD (not sure), but I am 99% sure it is still the only true 3d game on the zune platform.

Controls: (probably easily breakable)
Left side of screen: turn left

Alien Shooter

So pretty much the entire point of the game is that you have an unlimited supply of ammo and limitless supply of UFOs for you to shoot down. So far the whenever you shoot the UFOs they simply disappear off the screen.

Like I said earlier it's a pretty basic game right now, but right now I'm thinking of integrating a health system so that the ships don't die with only one hit, and I'm thinking of making it a little bit more challenging by giving you a limited supply of ammo that can only be resupplied after you've shot down a certain number of ships.

Update: Fixed the problem with the tilt control. It should be working pretty well up until you have the zune almost vertical. In which case the cannon moves pretty slowly. The easiest way to fix that is tilt it forwards just a little bit.

Racing

Retro Racing

This is a Retro Style Racing game where you control a car driving up a street and try to miss all of the oncoming traffic.
You can take a certain number of crashes before you die, there is a damage meter and speedometer at the bottom of the screen so you are always informed.
As you take on more damage, your car will smoke and catch on fire.

The further you get in the game, cars get faster and more populate the screen making it much harder.

To control it, you just tilt your zune left and right, no need to worry about acceleration because it is done automatically.

Menus: Press two fingers to start a new game/resume game when in menu. To pause, just press one finger.

Just click the + sign to make a new note, the keyboard is custom made and is very fast and responsive... On the main menu you can slide your finger from right to left to display a battery menu.
